Walter Eduardo Meneses, CEO, founder of DAS
Publisher of La Sonrisa Latina and business owner of Meneses Research & Associates. Walter was born in Lima, Peru and came to the USA to pursue his MBA in Marketing at the University of Reno, Nevada. Walter has been a dance instructor since 1995, and is constantly looking for meaningful ways to give back to the community. This desire led Walter to found DAS.

Sarah Lumbert, Grant Writer, Development Coordinator

Assisted in the formation of the organization since 2006. Supports Dancing After School in the areas of grant-writing, strategic planning, and research.
 


Rachel Parker, Program Coordinator

Rachel graduated from the University of South Alabama, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Communications. She is in charge of DAS day-by-day operations. Rachel coordinates schools, dance instructors, supervisors and volunteers.
